Medical Assistant Salaries in USA

Since we already covered Physician Assistant Salaries on this blog, it was only justified that I also cover Medical assistant salaries. First, let your eyes check out representative, annual average incomes that medical assistants can expect to make :

• Houston, TX: $27,000/-
• Los Angeles,CA: $30,000/-
• Miami, FL: $26,000/-
• New York, NY: $32,000/-
• Seattle, WA: $30,000/-

National Average: $27,000/-

The wages will vary depending on experience, education and the type of setup where the assistant is employed - like universities, colleges, hospitals, etc. which pay more than private physician offices.

It's easy to notice that these are almost half as that of their 'certified' counterparts - the Physician Assistants.
