Post Your Comment !With the current Medicare crisis it looks like Nephrology will take a big hit in Reimbursements compared to other subspecialities.
So why do two additional years of fellowship when you can make the same amount of money with a much better lifestyle as a Hospitalist?

Not to talk of taking care of some of the sickest patients, with such high burden of disease. Quite under appreciated..
would not do nephrology again. low pay and very sick pts. not worth it at all.
Then why nephrology has become a very competitive fellowship ? Can someone answer that ?
